Cloud Dentistry has been named a winner of the 2026 ADSO Innovation Award, presented by the Association of Dental Support Organizations at the 2026 ADSO Summit in Chicago. It’s a recognition we’re incredibly proud of, because it comes from the DSO leaders we build for every day.
We sat down with Madeline Methven, our DSO Account Manager, who accepted the award on stage, to hear what the moment meant to her and what our DSO partners say makes the biggest difference.
About the ADSO Innovation Award
The Association of Dental Support Organizations (ADSO) is the national voice of the DSO community, and its annual Summit brings together DSO leaders from across the country. The Innovation Award honors companies that make meaningful contributions to the DSO community and a positive impact across the dental industry.
Cloud Dentistry was recognized for its innovation in technology and workforce solutions: helping DSOs and dental practices recruit, retain, and manage clinical and administrative staff through our 24/7 self-service staffing platform and app.
“Workforce shortages continue to impact dental practices across the country,” said Trey Tepichin, co-founder and CEO of Cloud Dentistry. Our goal from day one “was to bring a more modern approach to workforce management in dentistry.”
Q&A with Madeline Methven, DSO Account Manager
What did it feel like to accept the ADSO Innovation Award on stage, and what does it mean to you personally as someone who works with our DSO partners every day?
“Walking up on that stage felt amazing, and a little crazy, looking out at a room full of DSO leaders from across the country. But what I kept thinking about was my team. Every single day, the people I work with are bringing new ideas to the table, and then there’s everyone who makes those ideas real, from our CEO to our sales, marketing, and engineering teams to every person who builds, tests, and supports what our DSOs use. I was the one holding the award, but it truly belongs to all of them.”
“Personally, it means so much because I get to be part of that whole cycle. I’m on the calls with our DSOs hearing what’s working, what’s not, and what would make their lives easier. I bring that feedback back to our team, watch them turn it into something real, and then get to be the one back on the call showing our DSOs the new features they helped shape. Being recognized by the DSO community feels like confirmation that we’re truly listening and building alongside them, and I couldn’t be prouder to be part of it.”
From what you see with your DSO accounts, what does this recognition say about the difference Cloud Dentistry makes for them, and what are they telling you they value most?
“I think this recognition reflects how much staffing has changed for the DSOs we work with. Before Cloud Dentistry, a lot of groups were juggling agencies, phone calls, and last-minute scrambles, with leadership having very little visibility into what was actually happening at each office. Now they can staff, hire, and train across every location from one platform, and that’s a huge shift.”
“When I ask our DSOs what they value most, I usually hear the same three things. First, reliability: knowing they can book a verified professional 24/7 and that person will actually show up. Second, visibility: office managers can run their own office, while leadership can see activity across every location from one dashboard. And third, partnership: they have a dedicated account manager who knows their organization and actually picks up the phone. That last one means a lot to me, because it’s proof that the relationships we build matter just as much as the platform itself.”
How Cloud Dentistry Works for DSOs
Cloud Dentistry gives DSOs one platform to staff, hire, and train across every location. More than 500 DSOs and 39,000 dental offices nationwide already use it.

- Permanent hiring: Post jobs and connect with qualified candidates for full-time and part-time roles.
- Internal float pool: Fill open shifts with your own existing team members across offices before going outside the organization.
- Multi-office dashboard: Unlimited user access, open job and application counts, and billing summaries for every location in one view. Office managers run their own office; leadership sees the whole picture.

- NEW! Cloud Coaching: Train, onboard, and retain team members with professional development built for dental teams.
Built Alongside Our DSO Partners
This award belongs to our DSO partners as much as it belongs to us. Many of the features they rely on today started as feedback on a call with their account manager, and we’ll keep building that way.
